new brief - postage stamps

We were given a variety of briefs to choose from and I went with the brief where you have to design 6 postage stamps celebrating the influence and creativity the fashion industry has bought to the UK.
I found these images and thought they were bright a bold which stamps should be in order to catch your eye.

An idea I have at the moment is to produce 6 images showing headwear from the 20's to the 70's as it has changed significantly every decade. Off to the library tomorrow to see what I can find.
