futher futher research

After a meeting with David he suggested I looked into sign language. Makaton is an easier form of sign language and children growing up find it a simpler way to interact. After researching into this and looking into how people cope with being deaf by looking on forums I have discovered that often those who are hearing impaired find reading alot easier than speaking. I wanted to create a gift which people would buy to raise awareness/promote for deaf organisations. I have decided on creating a series of bookmarks based on illustrator Kooky Cherry.
I love her lino printed bookmarks which has become a big influence on my next set of designs:
